I loved Archaeology as a kid, but even back then in the 1960's I saw things that didn't make sense, and the people in the field had another explanation for it. Such as the water erosion of the Sphinx in Egypt. I knew it was water, and they said wind blown sand. I didn't understand why they would come up with such crazy explanations until later when I learned it would upset their timeline for Human activity on this planet. The kind of rain it would take to erode the Sphinx like that stopped around 10,500 BC, and if they admitted it was water erosion it meant that the Sphinx was around long before that.
Over time things that didn't fit the accepted timeline was placed away where no one could see. Hidden away in Museums someplace, people have started to ask questions, and look into such OOPArt, or Out Of Place Artifacts. There are even some items that were bought up, and disappeared without a trace. It's been kind of a Mystery as to why our History has been hidden from us. Some say it hasn't, and you just need to go with what the experts tell us, and others are sure that there are things that happened way back when that are so enormous the people of today just couldn't handle it.
I started to find people that came to the same conclusions that I did, and one of them was Michael A. Cremo, who figured out that Humans lived on Earth for not thousands of years, but millions of years. We know there have been at least 5 major extinction events on this planet, maybe more, and it's not hard to think maybe such advanced civilizations didn't make it, and with only a few humans surviving they had to start all over again. If something like this happened today, not many people would have the knowledge to pick up right where we left off, and continue an advanced culture. It's the things left behind from such cultures that we are finding today that points to some very advanced civilizations all over the world in the past. Some things are hard to date, and other things give us dates of hundreds of thousands of years in the past.
Now there are people that will stick their necks out for the truth, and refuse to back off what the data shows. Robert M. Schock was one of the first to go after the Main Stream Archaeologist to prove that it was water, not wind blown sand, that eroded the Great Sphinx.
Over the years more and more questions have come up about just how long Humans have been around. Seems we have found things that go back around 130,000 years that would say there was advanced Humans around even then. Some like to bring in the Ancient Aliens subject, but I tend to believe that it was Humans that lived here, not Aliens, and that we had gone through the advancements just as we did this time, but for them they either had a problem with something from space, such as an asteroid or comet, or maybe even something from the sun such as a solar flare, that destroyed most of the life on Earth. Others believe that Human Kind destroyed themselves, and from what's going on right now, I figure that is a really good possibility. Humanity may have conquered space flight, and even been on the Moon, and even Mars. Maybe Mars is where we all started from, and we haven't figured out that destroying ourselves is not a good idea yet.
There are many things that point in that direction, such as ancient writings telling of race of humans that were fighting with the power of the sun. When Robert J. Oppenheimer, one of the creators of the first "Modern Day" Atomic Bomb, uttered the words from the Bhagavad-Gita after the first test at Trinity, it's clear that even he knew this may have happened before.. The words he uttered was, "Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds". Even more interesting was when Oppenheimer was giving a speech at Rochester University, during the Question and Answer period, a student asked a question. Student: "Was the bomb exploded at Alamogordo during the Manhattan Project the first one to be detonated?" to witch Dr. Oppenheimer answered, "Well – yes. In modern times, of course."
In the South of Pakistan, there is a city named Mohenjo Daro, (translation - Mound of the Dead), discovered in 1922, when excavated in the 1930's, skeletons were discovered to have 50 times more radiation than they should have, meaning something happened that totally destroyed the city with high heat and radiation. From the website, Ancient Origins, they talk about how Archaeologist have gone from one theory to another trying to figure out just how this city was destroyed. Nothing seemed to fit, from conventional war, to floods to a plague, but none of that explained what they saw. As time went on, the vitrification at the epicenter expanded 50 yards wide and everything within was crystallized fused or melted. Sixty yards from the center bricks were melted on one side indicating a blast. When you look at all the information, and the Ancient writings, you surly have to wonder. This verse is widely used when talking about Ancient Nuclear Wars that may have happened. From Beyond Science there is this video: Evidence That Ancient NUCLEAR WAR Occurred 4,000 YEARS Ago, but I think it was much further back, if at all, than 4,000 years. Mike Chen also points out the skeptics point of view, and the problems with the excavation at that site. But because of that written verse, it sure seems like Ancient India knew the effects of an Atomic Weapon. Could it be they witnessed it first hand?
There are lots of debunkers out there, and they tried to debunk all this, but I believe they fell short on many fronts. There is one thing they didn't mention in their debunking, and that is a comet exploding in the atmosphere, as like what may have happened in the Tunguska event. This also may have happened in and around Ancient Egypt, as a lot of artifacts made by the Egyptians included green glass made by high heat on the sand, kind of like the glass found at the Trinity Site. The BBC did a Documentary about The Mystery Of The Egyptian Desert Glass, and it shows that something heated up the desert to a point that the sand melted into glass. Others have also pointed out that it was not only in the desert, but shows extreme heating on the buildings in Egypt also. Okay, I've set the stage for you. Things are not as they seem for sure, but what is the real answer? Remember, Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich went on a world wide search trying to find the Ancient Weapons written about in India, and also other artifacts from Ancient times to help him win the second world war.
